Finally I drank it. Tasted nice and not so much bitter. According to an article on the Internet news I read last week, Sapporo announced that they would stop selling the Yebisu Black Beer for a while, because it was sold more than they predicted. I have never seen its TV advertisement so far so that I'm wondering why it became so popular. Yebisu Beer is 20yen - 30 yen more expensive than other beers in not olnly Sapporo product line but also Kirin and Asahi. When I reached my age that allowed me to drink in public, it used to be told we'd be served Ebisu Beer at sophsticated restaurants or in special occasions. I had thought for ages it could have tasted brilliant and would enrich my life.
Nowaday, Yebisu Beer is getting more popular than before even though it is still 20yen -30 yen more expensive than the others and there is an inclination of deflation in Japan.
After I read the airtcle, I went to a conviniense store that has a license to sell the alcohole, and bought some Yebisu Black Beer in a hurry. I sent out a few of them to my friend and put rest of them in my frige.
I thought first there were few beers left at the shop and it would have been difficult to buy recently. I'm lucky, or I'm a only person who's just involved in a cofusion the Media made, either way I was successful to have bought some before it was sold out.
However, it seems they are still sold here and there. Then I noticed my stupidity that the most of supermarkets like Ito Yokado would store lots of Yebisu Black Beer in their warehouse so that there was no need to buy it straight away.
