SCHOOL TIES: Phony grab gives younger set a uniform sense of pleasure
This article is quite interesting, as I totally agree with a mother of girl who gave a comment about the Nanchatte school uniform she wears, said in the article "The school uniform was regarded as a symbol of the restriction of our freedom of thought and behavior, and we used to rebel against it"
I went to a private high school in its own school uniform. Fortunatuly my school was not SO MUCH strict with a dress cord, so that I could put a small individuality to my school uniform quite easily, like made a skirt shorten with a belt, wore the long-socks (note: the loose-socks didn't exsist at my school days.) and so on. It was kinda exciting that we showed our own individuality and made it different from others under the school rules, that means we didn't obey them but never break them.
When I graduated from the high school, I really missed the school uniform. I realised at that time that the school uniform made me active and think there was nothing to be afread of in the world. That's stupid idea though, it occured to me that the school girls who wear the Nanchatte school uniform would have same feeling as I used to have when I finished reading the article above.
