Belatedly....
I went to Odaiba to watch a film "Zatoichi" directed by Takeshi Kitano. I like his films basically, but some are like a splatter movie, actually they are quite violent. Zatoichi is also a bit blurtal, but the film itself entertained me so much, yep it's sort of entertainment. The pros and cons of his work on Zatoichi have been discussed since it came out and he got the awards from a few international film competition though.
